The infamous "floating device" (passy)

They are only supposed to do this when they are in the process of "graduating" the class, however, Brayster doesn't NOT want to float on his back, which is a very important part in infant aquatic survival, so Tonya asked us to bring him in winter clothes and a regular diaper and shoes to maybe make it harder for him to swim and NEED to float.. It worked!! He still swam around but he really did need to float to breathe.. The funny part was he wouldn't float without crying until she put his PASSY in his mouth. Yes, on his back in the water with the what i call " the floating device". It was so funny, he would float for a bit with the passy then flip over and while under water take it out and keep swimming until he needed a breath and would then roll over and put the passy back in his mouth while he floated!!!! SO BRAYDEN!!!

I haven't posted any updates on the swimming deal in a while because, HE WAS HATING IT!!! I thought I would save all the heartache of you guys having to see him NOT HAPPY!!! He is cured now (for the time being) by NOTHING OTHER THAN THE PASSY!!! She let him have that dern suck suck and he is a swimming fish!!! lol But really, he is learning so much now and I am so excited!!! To see my little angel so vulnerable in the water learning a skill that could potentially save his life is amazing. Not even two years old and he has learned (not yet fully mastered) skills that teach him to swim.. float.. swim.. If he were to get into a bad situation or tire out before he finds a way out, he knows to float on his back until he gets help. I love it! I love it, I LOVE IT!!

Brayden loves it outside, i think if we made him a house out there he would prefer to live in it rather than with us! :) We played all day!!!

Easter Day

we had such a fun easter this year with bray. he got lots of goodies from the easter bunny. we took pictures before church but for the first time he just wasn't in the mood this day, hahhaha!!! Oh well!

ISR swim class WEEK ONE!

This is Bray's fourth day at swim class. I put this up just to have a before he could swim and after! :) He is doing pretty good, he cries and begs for me to save him, but I bite my tongue and pray that God gives me patience!!! Daddy came this day so he was especially sad! hahahaha I think he thought, "mommy won't save me but i know daddy will". Short and sweet but we get the point!

Dear Hagen,

Thank you so much for being the bestest big brother to me. Mommy shows me your picture almost every day and I always point to it when she asks me where you are. I know I can't give you kisses right now but Mommy and Daddy tell me you are in heaven and that I will most certainly see you again one day!!! In the meantime don't worry about Penny I give her hugs every day, I help daddy get her back inside so she doesn't run away and I nicknamed her "A", I think she really likes it. Oh, we still get your food bowl out when we feed "A", Tobee and Crash, just to keep you close to our hearts always. And please don't worry about daddy, I keep him company all the time!! Please watch over my baby sister in heaven while God is making her, give her licks and tell her I will protect her, but she must give me all her Passy's. Shhhh, don't tell mommy and daddy. I love you, and miss you!!!! Don't ever forget me!!!
