OUR LITTLE BEACH BUM!

Linda has a picture of Chad when he was very little I am thinking he is around 2 to 4 months old with his white nanny on his head. I am trying to caption the same image here with Brayden and his blue nanny! I don't think I have it perfect yet, but aren't these just so sweet!!! :) This was our last night in Florida! Brayden is sad! He lovvvves the sound of the ocean and the cool breeze! Until next time......

Momma is a great grandmother! While I know she wants to hold him all the time, she won't. She says it is "too hard for me when I get him home". Well, she is right, but I wouldn't mind a little spoiling every now and then. Instead of holding him she would rock him in his bouncy seat, lay him on his tummy for tummy time, lay him on his back to look around and learn or just talk funny talk to him. She and dad stayed up one night with him while Chad and I got a little uninterrupted shut-eye. It was nice but we missed our little angel! :) It will be fun to go on a Florida trip with Rick and Linda to see how they act with him in an "overnight" situation!! :) I would put money on it that it would be just as sweet! SO POPS, WHEN WE GOING TO PANAMA!?? :) xoxoxo!

My Three Favorite Boy's!!!

I enjoyed watching my daddy with Brayden this week. He was so sweet and Brayden just loves him to death! Despite getting yelled at by us all to PUT HIM DOWN, he held him anyway. He was funny! Needless to say, it was very sweet! Chad was also very sweet! He kept asking me, could you go get him so I can hold him for just a second! Hahah! It was a time war with who got to give him the most attention. I love the pictures! They are priceless!!!! Brayden also rolled over this day! He will be crawling soon!

On the Balcony

Chad and I decided that we didn't have any photo's of our baby with US!! So we took a few before dinner one night! :)

Some more firsts... :)

We have all gotten to love on and see our little man grow up so much in the past eight weeks. Can you imagine not getting to hold that sweet little thing for eight weeks!? I know it must have been so hard on my sister Nicole. If anyone loves babies she does. She was so sweet and loving toward her new nephew. My daddy told me while I was taking a nap one day that she got every single article of clothing out of his diaper bag (and believe me it was a lot) and was ooooing and awwing at every single thing. Daddy said she unfolded and re-folded everything so neatly. She loves him so much. I know he loved her also. Tim also got to hold him along with Tyler. They were great with him as well! They both are giving Nicole the "look" in the photo of Brayden and Tim. Mamaw said Brayden had gained at least five more pounds, that would make him 15 pounds!! hahaha!! Not yet mamaw! O and I had to put the picture up of daddy holding his future little "hunter". Dad told Chad that he was going to help Brayden get his first deer but that Chad had to come to video it for him! Now how sweet is that!!!?? We might hang it in Papa Rick and Grandmommy's house! hahah!!!!! Just kidding Rick! ;)

FLORIDA

This was our first Florida trip. We went with my parents and grandmother to St. Petersburg; it is a "family" trip my family has made since I was a young bugger. :) We left really late Saturday night and surprised my fam arriving at 7:00 AM Sunday morning. My sister and her lil boy and husband were there to meet their nephew for the first time. It was great!! We rested a few hours then went to the beach. The first photo is of my daddy. He walked Brayden ever day at least once on the beach in this little "snuggli". The first day we didn't have a hat so he used Brayden's "nanny" to protect him from the sun. The second photo is of Nicole and dad admiring Brayden. We dipped his feet in the ocean but I didn't get a picture of it. I have on video instead!!! The third and fourth photo is of our little man getting VERY STRONG!! This pic was taken on I believe Monday. He was trying so hard to roll over! Little did he know it was in his near future! :)

HOW FUNNY IS THIS FACE!?

Okay, I usually like to just post the "sweet and smiling" photo's, however, this picture is so funny that i had to share it!!! This is the typical BRAYDEN LOOK! Diana and I were trying to position him so I could get a good picture. He was looking up at her like, "excuse me".. I just love it!!!!! We laughed so hard, he did this face for a good two minutes straight!

Our little muffin...

Can you guys believe Brayden is already SIX WEEKS OLD!!! I know I can't. He grows so fast and changes everyday! I love him little but I am looking forward to getting to know his personality. He is so funny. He can be so happy one minute and boohooing the next.. I guess he is a little fella who knows what he wants and when he wants it!! :) Diana is going to kill me for putting this picture on here, but this was her time to hold him and love him without the rest of the fam trying to get him back! hahahah!! This is for you D! :)

My little Spoooky Man...

Since it is getting closer to Halloween I have been putting a lot of "orange" on him!! He looks so cute in his little halloween outfits... We are taking him to the Pumpkin Patch either today or tomorrow! Can't wait!!!!!

The biggest and best picture ever!!!

Our favorite photographer took this photo, Audrey Habeck. She is so wonderful!! I can't wait to do more shoots with her.. It is very possible we may have a house full of Brayden pictures!!!! That's okay right!?

HE SMILES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, for the longest time I thought Brayden was just miserable. I mean we kept him full, changed, bounced, held, warm but not too warm, cool but not too cool, did I mention held yet?? Well he would smirk a smile every now and then, but was it gas? Was it an elvis "twitch"?? I am pretty sure they weren't "real" smiles because he wouldn't do it when we would play with him. BUT.... yesterday morning (October 7th) we woke up and I did the morning ritual. I fed him, changed his diaper (only this time he projectile peed on his head), and changed him into is day clothes. Since he was being good laying on the bed on his back I decided to sing the 'itsy bitsy spider' to him. As soon as I got to the part of "down came the rain and washed the spider out" he just flashed me the biggest smile I had seen yet! I kept singing to him and the more I sang the more he laughed. Wait a minute, is this because I can't sing... hmmmm!! haha... Well, I got it on video but didn't have my camera... So after we got home tonight I was playing "get your nose" and it cracked him up again.... I still have his nose.. Shhhhhh... don't tell him!! BUT JUST LOOK AT THAT SMILE!!!

His first "warm" outfit....

It rained all day today which we really needed.. I took Brayden outside with me to get the mail and he got to feel his first rain droplets.. He liked it but it was really cool out. Soooooo, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to dress him in his cute little COZY outfits... I went with the green one today. It kept him warm and I think he liked it. We went to Papa Ricks and Grandmommy's... They got to love on him and we discovered that he loves the ottoman and the fan! Sometimes the best "toys" are right under our noses! ;)

Catching up continued...

Our beautiful little angel sleeping!!!!!

Catching up....

Since I started this late I just had to put some "old" pictures up so we could all compare them to all the recent ones! These are just snapshots that we take EVERYDAY! Dan (maybe uncle dan one day) held him for the first time when he was just a few days old... He loves him very much, but then again, how could you not!?
And I could not leave out the first time he wore his GEORGIA outfit! He will wear Orange too though, so get ready papa rick and uncle chuck! ;)
